Swanlinbar Development Association was set up in 1994 to promote the development of economic and social activities in the Swanlinbar and surrounding rural and border areas.
Based at Trivia House, Swanlinbar Co Cavan (which was an IFI funded building) they provided a range of targeted services that addressed the needs of local people including support for local festivals and community-based events.
In 2018 through funding from the Government of Ireland and Pobal, Trivia House was converted into 7 bed self-catering accommodation. Trivia House hosted a number of Ukrainians from 2022 to 2024 and then reverted to being available for accommodation.
There is also a digital hub for remote working located at Trivia House. To book a digital hub space please contact Trivia House Office on 087 090 3253 or email community@swanlinbar.ie
Mission Statement: is to create a strong local community for all people to have a voice.
